Phil Allegri Electric, Inc., doing business as Allegri Electric (“Allegri Electric,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, protect, and disclose information when you visit allegrielectric.com (the “Site”), submit a request or inquiry through the Site, or use the services we offer through the Site (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors to and users of the Site and Services.

This Privacy Policy is specific to this Site. It does not apply to information we collect offline, to information collected by third parties who operate their own websites and services (including our payment processor and financing partner, described in Section 5), or to any other website that links to or from this Site.

BY USING THE SITE OR SERVICES, YOU CONSENT TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY.

1. Who We Are and How to Reach Us

Phil Allegri Electric, Inc. is a family-owned, licensed and insured California electrical contractor (C-10 License #389438) that has served Santa Cruz County since 1949. We are the party responsible for the information described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Personal Information We Collect

“Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with you or your household. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of Personal Information:

• Contact information — your first and last name, service address, mailing address, email address, telephone number, and fax number.
• Property and project information — the address and characteristics of the property where work is requested, a description of the electrical issue or project, photographs you send us, access instructions, and appointment history.
• Commercial and transaction information — estimates, invoices, work orders, service history, and records of payments made.
• Communication content — the subject line and body of messages you submit through our contact form or send us by email, and your response to our question about whether you wish to receive future emails from us.
• Marketing preferences — whether you have opted in or out of receiving email from us.
• Internet and electronic activity information — your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring and exit pages, the pages you view on the Site, the dates and times of your visits, and similar technical and usage data collected automatically through cookies and comparable technologies.
• Business contact information — for our commercial and property management clients, the name, title, business email address, and business phone number of the individuals we work with.

Payment card and bank account information. We do not collect or store your full payment card number or bank account number through this Site. Online payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, and financing applications are submitted directly to our third-party financing partner. See Section 5.

Sensitive information. We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, driver’s license number, government identification number, or health information in connection with this Site. Please do not send this information to us through the Site’s contact form or by unencrypted email.

3. How We Collect Personal Information

Directly from you. We collect the information you choose to give us when you complete the contact form on the Site, call, fax, email, or text us, request a free estimate, schedule an appointment, or communicate with our office or field technicians.
Automatically as you use the Site. We and our service providers collect internet and electronic activity information passively through cookies, tags, pixels, and server logs. See Section 6.
From our service providers. Our website host, security provider, analytics providers, payment processor, and financing partner may provide us with information about your interactions with the Site or with a transaction you initiated.
From third parties and public sources. We may receive your information from a property manager, general contractor, landlord, tenant, architect, real-estate agent, insurer, or utility who refers you or arranges work on your behalf, and from publicly available sources such as county property records, permit records, and business directories.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We use Personal Information for the following purposes:

To respond to you and provide estimates. To answer your inquiry, prepare and deliver a free estimate, and follow up on a request for service.
To perform electrical work. To schedule, dispatch, and perform the residential, commercial, industrial, and property-management services you request; to coordinate site access; to order materials; and to communicate with you before, during, and after a job.
To bill and collect. To issue invoices, process and confirm payments, apply finance charges on past-due balances, issue refunds and credits, and pursue collection of amounts owed.
To facilitate financing. To refer you to our third-party financing partner if you choose to apply for project financing.
To comply with code, permitting, and licensing obligations. To obtain and close permits, schedule and document inspections, prepare records required of a licensed C-10 contractor, and demonstrate code compliance.
To operate, secure, and improve the Site. To host and maintain the Site, diagnose technical problems, protect against fraud, spam, and unauthorized access, and understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
To send email you have asked for. If you tell us you would like to receive future emails from us, to send you service reminders, safety notices, seasonal information, and occasional promotions.
To maintain our business records. To keep warranty, safety, insurance, accounting, and tax records, and to resolve disputes.
To comply with law. To meet our legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, to respond to lawful requests from government authorities, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your Personal Information. We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease your Personal Information, and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

5. Categories of Third Parties With Whom We Share Personal Information

We share Personal Information only as described below.

Service Providers. We engage vendors who perform services for us and who are permitted to use your Personal Information only as necessary to perform those services on our behalf. These include:

– Website hosting, maintenance, and security providers, including our web host, our content management platform, and our content-delivery and email-obfuscation provider (Cloudflare).
– Analytics and tag-management providers, including Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Site Kit), which help us measure Site traffic and performance.
– Payment processing. Online invoice payments are handled by PayStand. When you pay online you are directed to PayStand’s secure environment and provide your card, debit, or bank account details to PayStand, not to us. PayStand’s handling of that information is governed by PayStand’s own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of payment, the amount, and the method used — not your full account credentials.
– Project financing. If you choose to apply for financing, you are directed to Enhancify and its participating lenders. You submit your application directly to Enhancify, and the information you provide there — including any credit and income information — is governed by Enhancify’s and the lender’s own privacy policies and notices. We may receive the status and approved amount of your application so we can schedule and price your project.
– Professional advisors and business services, including our accountants, bookkeepers, insurers, attorneys, and collection agencies, where reasonably necessary.

Others involved in your project. Where necessary to perform the work, we may share your information with suppliers and equipment manufacturers (for example, to order materials or register a warranty), with general contractors, subcontractors, property managers, landlords, tenants, architects, or engineers involved in the same project, and with municipal and county building departments and inspectors and the local electric utility for permitting, inspection, and interconnection purposes.

Corporate transactions. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our assets, Personal Information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction.

Compliance with law and protection of rights. We may disclose Personal Information to government, regulatory, or law enforcement authorities, or to private parties, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary or appropriate to comply with law or legal process (including subpoenas and court orders), to enforce our agreements, to protect the safety, property, or rights of Allegri Electric, our employees, our customers, or others, or to prevent or investigate fraud or illegal activity.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device that allows a website to recognize your browser. We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies (including tags, pixels, and server logs) to operate the Site, remember your preferences, keep the Site secure, and analyze how the Site is used so that we can improve it.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, to delete cookies already stored, or to alert you when a cookie is being sent. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Site may not function properly.

We use Google services on the Site to measure and analyze traffic. You can opt out of having your Site activity used by Google Analytics by installing Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Third-party interest-based advertising. We do not currently allow third parties to collect information through the Site in order to serve you interest-based or retargeted advertising on other websites.

7. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) setting that sends a signal to websites you visit. There is no common industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals. Our Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. If a uniform standard is adopted, we will revise this Privacy Policy accordingly. Section 6 describes the choices available to you regarding cookies.

8. Your Choices About Email and Other Communications

When you submit our contact form you are asked whether you would like to receive emails from us in the future. Your answer controls whether we add you to our email list.

You may opt out of marketing email at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send, or by contacting us using the information in Section 1. Please note that even after you opt out of marketing email, we may still send you communications that relate to a specific job or account — for example, appointment confirmations, estimates, invoices, receipts, warranty and safety notices, and responses to your inquiries.

If you have asked us not to contact you for marketing purposes, we will retain a minimal record of your request so that we can honor it.

9. Reviewing, Correcting, and Deleting Your Information

You may ask us to review, correct, update, or delete the Personal Information we hold about you by contacting us using the information in Section 1. Please describe what you would like changed and give us enough detail to locate your record. So that we do not disclose or alter information at the request of the wrong person, we may ask you to verify your identity before we act on your request.

We will make reasonable efforts to honor your request. We may need to retain certain information to complete work in progress, to comply with permitting, licensing, warranty, insurance, accounting, and tax requirements, to resolve disputes, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

10. Notice to California Residents (“Shine the Light”)

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request, once per calendar year, information about the categories of Personal Information a business has disclosed to third parties for those third parties’ own direct marketing purposes, and the identities of those third parties.

We do not disclose Personal Information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes, and we do not sell Personal Information. If you would like written confirmation of this, or if you have any other question about our privacy practices, contact us using the information in Section 1 with the subject line “California Privacy Request.”

This Privacy Policy is also intended to satisfy the California Online Privacy Protection Act (Business & Professions Code §§ 22575–22579) by identifying the categories of Personal Information we collect and the categories of third parties with whom we share it (Sections 2 and 5), describing how you may review and request changes to your information (Section 9), disclosing how we respond to Do Not Track signals (Section 7), and explaining how we notify you of changes to this Privacy Policy (Section 15).

11. Security

We maintain reasonable physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards designed to protect the Personal Information we hold. Access is limited to personnel and service providers who need it to do their jobs, and our service providers are required to use security measures appropriate to the information involved.

No transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and no safeguard provides absolute protection. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security of information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Please do not send sensitive personal or financial information to us by unencrypted email or through the Site’s contact form.

12. Third-Party Websites and Links

The Site contains links to websites we do not operate, including our payment processor (PayStand), our financing partner (Enhancify), the Better Business Bureau, the Santa Cruz Builders Exchange, and our social media pages. A link does not mean we endorse or are affiliated with that website. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites. Please review the privacy policy of any third-party website before providing information to it.

13. Children’s Privacy

The Site and Services are directed to adults and are intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us using the information in Section 1 and we will delete it from our records.

14. Information Is Processed in the United States

We are located in California and we process and store information in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Privacy Policy on this page and update the “Last Revised” date at the top. Changes take effect on the date posted. If we make a material change to how we use Personal Information we previously collected, we will provide more prominent notice, which may include notice on the Site’s home page or an email to the address you have given us. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the Site after a revised Privacy Policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of it.
